A well composed and executed image should tell a story without an explanation. Images should evoke emotions and speak to you for years to come.
I believe capturing life as it happens and doing so naturally delivers the most powerful images. Our lives are a little chaotic at times, entirely unpredictable and rarely staged. Children’s hair is often out of place, shirts are un-tucked and band-aides on the knees tell a story and define a moment in time.
My style is laid back and natural. Documenting life through my lens is natural as well. You will not find props or staged scenes in my work. The unexpected is beautiful; life as it plays out and capturing the the essence of you and the beauty of the moment brings me joy.
When I don’t have a camera in my hand, I work as an advocate for brain tumor patients, volunteer at Emory Healthcare and serve on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation based in Atlanta.
I reside in the metro Atlanta area with my husband, three children and three rescue dogs and I look forward to working with you!
